Giving
Tuition does not cover the costs needed to operate the school, therefore we rely heavily on donations. If not specified, your donation will go toward the area with the most need or the general operating budget. If you would like your donation to go toward something specific, please indicate that along with your donation. Thank you for your support of East Martin Christian School.
Memorial Fund
Memorial funds provide a meaningful way to honor the life of someone who has passed away. When you give towards the memorial fund, the name of your loved one will be put on a plaque and displayed on our Memorial Award at the school. If you’d like to donate and honor your loved one in this way, please send checks to East Martin Christian School with your loved ones’ name listed in the memo line.
Wild Game Dinner
Our annual Wild Game Dinner is happening on Saturday, February 21. Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner begins at 5 p.m. Our speaker this year will be Tom Maher, a former public safety officer and hunter. This event brings friends and family together in support of our school. The night consists of a wild game and fish buffet dinner, including sides and desserts! We hold Silent and Dutch auctions for many items that have been donated by local businesses and families. Come and join us for a great night of fun! Golf Outing
The golf outing in June brings out 100+ community members for a time of fun, fellowship, and competition on the golf course. Sponsorships from local businesses are appreciated! All event proceeds benefit the school and its students, funding upgrades to the curriculum and facilities, as well as contributing to tuition assistance.
Harvest Sale
The Harvest Sale is a long-standing tradition at East Martin Christian School. It began years ago to celebrate and give thanks for a bountiful harvest, but also to auction off harvest items to buyers who too could enjoy the blessings of the harvest. This yearly tradition continues today. We continue to auction off harvest items along with many donated items from businesses, individuals, and families. Proceeds from the auction go toward the school’s operating costs.
This is a big event held every September so be sure to invite your family and friends! Come out to EMCS for a night of food, fun, and fellowship to raise money for Christian education.
Walk-A-Thon
The walk-a-thon takes place each May on the school grounds. Students get pledges from family, friends, and neighbors and they walk as many laps as they can in 1.5 hours. Prizes are awarded to all of the students based on laps, money raised, and participation. The proceeds from this event often support specific cause or need that the school has.
Paper Gator
Looking to get rid of junk mail that has been piling up? We’ll take it! The paper gator is a great way to earn funds for the school and be a good steward of our environment. The paper gator is located in our school parking lot. To see the full list of accepted items, click here.
Box Tops
Box Tops is now an app! You can use paper receipts or digital receipts to earn cash for the school which is used for supplies and programs. Once you download the app, search for East Martin Christian School.
