Childcare

At East Martin, every child is known and cherished as a child of God by the staff, volunteers, and school families. This includes our six-week-old infants all the way up through our middle school students. In the Child Development Center, our childcare program, we encourage the budding faith of young children. Our goal is to help them to know Jesus and love Him. Therefore, we set a Biblical standard of love and forgiveness that provides a safe emotional, physical, and spiritual environment for your child.

Through play, children explore God’s world, express creativity, discover the power of friendship, sharing, and caring, and grow to love learning at an early age. We help children develop a positive view of themselves and those around them. They learn to appreciate the differences among others and how to celebrate those differences.

Your child’s day will include music, art, literature, academics (math, language arts), and small and large motor activities. The day will also include adult-led and child-led activities. These include large and small groups, with the opportunity for individual exploration and play.  Each child will develop the basic skills needed to prepare them for the next level of learning.

We are licensed by the State of Michigan (LARA) and follow all rules and regulations they have implemented. We also work hand in hand with the Allegan County Health Department.

The Child Development Center is open from 6am to 6pm. Moreover, there are no stipulation on hours your child can attend.
